I was thinking of craigslist… and having a link that points to my own url/(php form) so that when the item is sold i simply put sold on the url and get no spamers. total control (| : ) .

I was ripped off by paypal. Ebay owns paypal. I bought an unlock code. I was never sent it. The seller never even had to lie that he sent it. Paypal rejected my claim and I lost $56. Paypal had made no investigation and had automatically ruled against me. Lesson. Never use paypal.

mscdex, those were the first things I checked given how outrageous it all seemed. I’ve listed the item on gumtree.com … Gumtree is free, fantastic a fantastic UI and I’ve already had an inquiry. “A++++”, would use again.

That seems a little fishy… are you sure the emails are verified to have come from ebay.com? Also, verify the address of that sign-in page to make sure you’re not giving away your login credentials to a malicious party (I’d probably be extra cautious an also check the HTML source for anything fishy).
